Birding the Celery Fields (Sarasota, FL ) with Paula

A recent trip south provided a chance to catch up with Paula and enjoy a morning of birding with Rita, Jean and Paula. A great trip and to meeting up with old birding friends. Thanks Paula and Jean!

Some sightings from the Celery Fields and nearby:

Bronzed Cowbird
Nanday Parakeets
Horned Grebe
Limpkin
White Pelican
Sandhill Crane on nest
Bathing Osprey
Roseate Spoonbills roosting at Myaka State Park, FL
Black-necked Stilt at Myaka State Park
Wood Storks roosting at Harris Neck NWR (GA)
Hooded Merganser pair at Huntington Beach (SC)
Snowy Egrets at Huntington Beach (SC)

Now we’ll wait to see how many corrections I need to make in my identifications.–sf
