On Wed., Dec. 14, the Franklin Bird Club’s 6 CBC teams took part in our 4th annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count. Our day was crisp and cloudy but the birds turned out and sharp eyes counted. Here are our preliminary results: (These may change slightly before final results are submitted. In the future, we’ll share a complete list of what was seen and numbers for each.) Join us next year!

Special sightings included: 1 ring-necked duck, 1 snow goose, 1 bald eagle, 1 house wren and this handsome fellow–a barred owl. Way to go Franklin Bird Club!
